BREAKING: Walmart Updates Coupon Policy Allowing Overage!

BREAKING NEWS

WOW!!! Walmart has just updated their coupon policy allowing overage (or “money makers”):

Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.

How awesome is that?! Walmart tends to have the lowest prices on many items so with high value coupons, we will be able to make some money now!!! For an example on how this would work, check out the latest update on our Walmart page!

Now who’s going to tell Walmart?? The CSM’s never seem to be on the same page.

That’s funny but so true – from one store to another they rarely know their own coupon policy. But this is a step in the right direction!

Print the coupon policy and keep it with you I have a coupon organizer and keep a copy of all the coupon policys for the stores I shop at frequently it helps to show them if they still argue the point just call the 1-800 number and make a complaint about that store and the name of the employee.

My walmart has never adjusted a coupon if it was over. Maybe some just don’t care. But when I do go I am using a lot of them so the csm is called anyways and they just let it go because I am using so many so they think that is why.

Here is a suggestion for everyone:

Since Walmart has updated the coupon policy, I encourage everyone to Email, Fax and even call Walmart CEO on complimenting the change on policy. Also, please share your horrible experience with Michael Duke. Ask him for his advice on making your future shopping experience smooth as possible avoiding past experience of you and others. Lastly, share this thread, other thread and blogs.

    Hi,
I just had a question in regards to the overage, does that mean that when there is a coupon that says cashier has to write the price and it could be upto 3.99 but the actual price is 1.99. So it mean that they will give us the 3.99? I would really appreciate any help.
    Thanks

I was so excited when yesterday I went to Walmart and purchased what seemed like a million bottles of shampoo for my children and I. The cashier maxed my coupons and so she gave me the $3.00 for the coupon rather than the price of the shampoo ($2.74). So I went back today to purchase my 8 more bottles with my maximum of 4 like coupons and the girl starts looking for the price. I told her the day before the cashier maxed my coupons. This new cashier went on to say that she just had a meeting the hour before that they were all told not to do that. So I told her I wanted to speak to the floor manager who came over and told me I was wrong and that the girl should never had done that and she remembered me from the day before:) Well I was still getting buy one get one so I gave up the argument. I’m going to print this out and take in the policy. I hope that helps! Really…Walmart is a million dollar company. They really need my extra .25 cents? Starting to think they might be run by the government. Just let me have my coupons for crying out loud. Any suggestions—-please let me know:)
