Macy’s to Open at Midnight on Black Friday

Wow, I think we are going to be seeing a new trend this Black Friday! Macy’s has just announced that its stores will open at midnight on Thanksgiving Day (11/24) for the first time, much earlier when compared to last years 4 am opening. Like Target, Macy’s will stay open for 23 hours and close at 11 pm on Friday, November 25. Macy’s vice president of marketing, Martine Reardon, said the change was a response to customers’ requests. Save now at Macys.com + snag 2% cash back on your entire purchase when you shop through ShopAtHome.com!

We’d love to know, what are your thoughts? Will you be standing in line at Macy’s on Black Friday?

(thanks @AP)

    Some friendly grammatical help:

Wow, I think we are going to be seeing a new trend this Black Friday! Macy’s (you don’t need both just and today) announced today that its stores will open at midnight on Thanksgiving Day (11/24) for the first time, much earlier than (that wasn’t a parallel comparison; you didn’t compare two like things) last year’s 4 am opening. Similar (you need an adjective, not an adverb) to Target, Macy’s will stay open for 23 hours and close at 11 pm on Friday, November 25. Macy’s vice president of marketing, Martine Reardon, said the change was a response to customers’ requests. Ok. The “grammatical help” was unnecessary and rude. That is all. Thanks Ro, for all you do!! : )
