Here’s some great news for all you Prime members! Amazon just announced that Prime shipping will be shortened from 2-day shipping to 1-day shipping! There’s no exact date when this will happen but we know it’s sometime this year before the holidays. The company is investing a whopping $800 million to make this happen. No word on a price increase but you can bet that will happen again soon.
Personally, I haven’t had Prime for about 6 months now and I’m not really missing it. During the last few months of my membership, I had so many issues with Amazon using their own shipping service (instead of UPS). My items were late, not delivered to my door, and sending me a used item that was suppose to be new. I’m willing to give them another shot and this news gets me closer to doing that!

I have never had an issue with delivery, just when ordering some merchandise like ordering 1 item n’ receiving 2-6 of them. As for shipping, it amazes me that I can order something in Va at 10:00p.m. at night and it’s on my doorstep by 1:15 p.m. and my merchandise have to come by boat to an island in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay. I call it AMAZON AMAZING!!!
I love Amazon Prime. I guess that you don’t ship anything. Pricing is fair on Amazon and Free Shipping seals the deal. I can ship things to another state for grandchildren much cheaper than the US Postal Service. Even if a toy is on clearance at a big box store by the time I pay shipping it’s always more expensive than on Amazon with free two day shipping. I’m a happy Amazon Prime shopper here in Virginia.
