Just announced! On November 3rd, 2022, Netflix will be launching a new subscription level for a super low price but there is a catch. The Basic with Ads plan will cost you $6.99 per month. There will be about 4-5 minutes worth of ads per hour and you can’t download shows. In addition, video is limited to 720p and some shows won’t be available to you due to licensing restrictions.
I’m currently paying more than double this price and will continue to do so. Personally, I just can’t see myself doing ads. The most I can tolerate is a minute worth of ads so this plan is definitely not for me but a great option for others. What do you think?
