Video Values (VV):
You can go here and participate in the Rite Aid Video Value program! Watch videos to earn various Rite Aid coupons–including a $3 off $20 Rite Aid coupon AND $1 off ANY purchase coupons, which mean FREE stuff.
(TIP: If you don’t want to sit through the entire video… play the video, then immediately  switch to a different window before the video plays (continue whatever your doing on the web), the video will then play then once you hear that it stopped, go back to the original video window, enter the code and still get credited for watching the video! 😉 )

+Up Rewards:
Like ExtraCare Bucks or Register Rewards, Rite Aid’s +Up Rewards print out on your receipt and can be used like cash on future purchases at Rite Aid. Though, they do have an expiration name.

Single Check Rebates (SCR):
Rite Aid’s Single Check Rebate is ACTUAL cash back which can be deposited into your bank account, though you must easily submit your receipt info online and checks take a few weeks to arrive. SCR is my favorite!

No fair telling people how to bypass the Video Value Videos. Rite Aid gives us the coupons based on our watching the videos, and going to a different web page and not watching the videos that we’re receiving coupons for is cheating, plain and simple. Besides that, I find the videos to be informative and entertaining. They range from 16 seconds to not much longer than 3 minutes, with a longer video being the exception. Sometimes I do nothing while I watch, and other times I’ll sort through mail, coupons, etc. while watching. Either way, I watch the videos because Rite Aid expects me to hold up my end of the bargain. If we don’t watch, the company will take away this privilege.

Michelle you should read what is wrote before you complain he said if you dont want to watch change tabs / windows the video is still playing in the background on a different tab havent you had more than one web page open at a time? You are doing the same thing by going through your mail or coupons same as having a nother tab open!!!

  • Michelle February 6, 2011, 12:04 PM

Obviously I did read what was written, otherwise my comment wouldn’t have made any sense. There was no ‘complaining’ being done by me, it was simply a matter of my opinion. The fact that the video is playing in the background while your real attention is elsewhere is just wrong because we are supposed to be watching it. It’s called ‘video’ values, not ‘audio’ values. My problem is in telling people how to cheat the system a create a fraud, where the system is in place based on the consumer performing as the company requests we do, in order to receive the company’s rewards. And, No, opening the mail while watching the video values isn’t the same thing as actively doing something else in another window while you’re supposed to be watching (not just listening to) the video page. It’s akin to folding laundry and watching t.v. – your eyes are able to pay attention to both things at the same time.

My kids watch the videos and enter the codes at the end 🙂 painless!!!

  • Michal David February 6, 2011, 7:00 PM

Michelle i think you overreacted a little…but anyway when you move to another window the video stops……just an FYI

  • Michelle February 6, 2011, 10:13 PM

I didn’t overreact. Not watching the videos and other ways ‘around the system’ is the reason real couponers like myself are treated like thieves at drug store counters!

I’m sure that being a “real couponer” you must have a wonderful blog full of great tips and deals. Care to share?
