This worked for me buying 3. The in ad coupon is limit 3 so I think if you buy 5 the oop is more like $4.75 but still a GREAT money maker.

I just purchased 5 Fruity Pebbles cups, used the in ad q to get them for .79 each, paid $4.12 and got back 2 seperate $4RR’s!

It worked for me on the Fruity Pebbles. Made 2 trips, bought 3 each time and received $8.00 back total for both transactions. What a happy day!! 🙂

Added FYI – Cheerios are not working. 🙁

    • Roland March 10, 2011, 9:17 PM

      Thanks!

  • Erin March 10, 2011, 5:10 PM

It didn’t work on Honey Nut Cheerios in Oregon.

  • Stacy March 10, 2011, 5:11 PM

I just bought three Fruit Loop cups and it didn’t work for me.

    • Roland March 10, 2011, 9:18 PM

You mean Fruity Pebbles? I don’t think it works on Fruit Loops

  • Giovanna March 10, 2011, 6:41 PM

I think it’s only on Post cereals

worked for me. I got 5 used 3 rr paid 2.15 got 8.00 did it 3 times worked each time. Was going to do it 5 times but the store had no more went to another and they were out. I will try another store tomorrow. Thanks OP for posting this. My grocer takes RR so this will pay for groceries, this makes it a winner in my book. Got fruity pebbles did not try any others.

  • Meredith March 10, 2011, 7:16 PM

D Harris- how in the heck does your grocer take RR’s and who are they?? lol

    • Letty March 10, 2011, 7:37 PM

All Walmarts should now be taking RR’s! 🙂

    • Jamie March 11, 2011, 11:06 AM

RR are actually manufacture coupons, techinically every store should take them. My PUblix will take them.

  • C. Mauk March 10, 2011, 7:38 PM

I hear WalMart started taking RegisterRewards because they’re actually a manufactures coupon.

    • Estela I March 10, 2011, 8:58 PM

I had to go to Walmart earlier today so I thought I’d ask about that (with rr’s & coupon policy in hand) and the cashier confirmed that they are taking them.

I got 5 Fruity Pebbles and got the 2 4RR!!!! Yay!! I always have my kids guess what the regular price is, what the sale price might be, and what I probably paid. They didn’t guess anywhere near what I ‘paid’!!

  • Crystal March 10, 2011, 11:19 PM

If I use RR to pay for the cereal, will the 2 – $4 RR still print?

    • Roland March 10, 2011, 11:25 PM

It didn’t work for me, so no.

  • Amy March 10, 2011, 11:51 PM

I just found out!!! You can use the blue RR you get back from the 5 fruity pebbles transaction to pay for the purchase. I dont think the red RR will work. I used the blue $4 blue RR for a purchase of 5 fruity pebbles, paying $.12, and received back another red and blue $4 RR. you can roll the blue one as many times as you want. (the trick is finding 5 fruity pebble cups at 1 Walgreens. most were out)

  • Kristina March 11, 2011, 7:50 AM

Where is it listed what you will get in register rewards

  • Brenda March 11, 2011, 10:25 AM

I went last night I did not see anything about register rewards at our WalGreens for this products just the .79 sale price

  • Crystal March 11, 2011, 11:21 AM

    Has anyone tried this today?!?

  • Steve March 11, 2011, 1:47 PM

I live in Panama City, FL and just tried this at one Walgreens last night and they only had 3 of the Fruity Pebbles and I got 2 $2.00 RR’s.

This morning I went to another Walgreens on Panama City Beach and they had 17 fruity pebbles cups so I grabbed all of them and was able to do 3 transactions of 5 each and got a total of $24 in RR’s for them. Also each transaction netted me an additional manufacturers coupon of $2.00 off any 3 Post cereals as well!

I had 2 Fruity Pebbles remaining and grabbed one Honey Bunches of Oats hoping that I would get the 2 $2.00 RR’s but no go. It did still print me another $2.00 off coupon though.

I want ask you a question what is the difference between red and blue RR and where we can use blue one. Could you please enlighten me about this issue? Thanks.
