  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:00 PM

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:01 PM

Won't go through without giving them a credit card!

  • Esther November 8, 2010, 3:01 PM

Thanks! Hopefully these orders wont get canceled like a lot of others have been lately.

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:04 PM

    I don't think I'm getting a code. About 20 minutes now. 🙁 Oh well…think I got the last Lowe's one…

  • AKArose November 8, 2010, 3:12 PM

Thank you.. That took some work, but I think I did it right.

  • Cori November 8, 2010, 3:15 PM

When my total was $16.50 it kept getting an error. When my total was $19.98 it went through but charged me $1.18 (tax?) so this deal is not free.

    Still nice though.

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:15 PM

I keep getting an error messge saying my credit card information is incorrect when I know it is fine!

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:16 PM

this one is crappy…has a 4 cent balance and i dont have no CC 🙁

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:20 PM

Tells me total is 2 cents and i keep gettin the credit card message too!!

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:21 PM

I did this and it charged card $1.73…

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 3:23 PM

    STOP!!!!!!! AND READ!!!!!!!
I had a $0.02 credit showing, but kept asking for credit card. So I double checked everything and it look alright and entered a card info THINKING.. it would not charge my card since there was a credit showing on the verification screen before the final check out page. Well it charged my card $1.73 anyhow…. so now I'm contacting Sunglass hut about the charge when it showed I had a credit.

  • kdmiller90 November 8, 2010, 3:24 PM

This didn't work for me, it took $1.33 from my bank account. I know that's not a bad price, but I really didn't have much to spend on something that was posted as free. (Even though my check out picture was the same as the one above.)

  • kdmiller90 November 8, 2010, 3:29 PM

I'm going to contact them tomorrow, DH is at work and I used his card bc mine was declined numerous times, but I don't have a phone to contact my DH to let him know about this. That'll be a great surprise for him when he gets home. . . (not).

  • Shirrena November 8, 2010, 3:41 PM

OK I don't feel so bad now that I know some others were charged too. So do we have to contact Sunglass hut or our bank. What do the victims reccomend?

  • kdmiller90 November 8, 2010, 3:53 PM

I'm pretty sure you have to contact sunglass hut, and have them refund the money that they took. I don't think the banks can do anything about it.

Just an FYI to some that are being charged a small amount: Some states require them to still charge you tax on the value of your free item(s).

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 4:34 PM

cost me 3 cents for 20.00 worth of merchandise im not complaining

use bigcrumbs.com to earn 5.4% cashback in paypal on this. If want to be really nice u can sign up using my referral:
    https://home.bigcrumbs.com/exiledzuko
I've already earned $30 from this site and they pay in paypal in 30 days with no minimum payout 😀

  • kdmiller90 November 8, 2010, 5:47 PM

I don't think it was tax. The tax section of my receipt and purchase before comfirmation showed a tax charge of $0.00.

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 5:56 PM

forget this deal. i'll pass. i keep getting that message stating that i incorrectly typed in my CC info, but i know i typed all of it correctly. i did it numerous times but it wont go through. very frustrating..

  • tutmom November 8, 2010, 6:06 PM

Didn't work. Think they figured it out. I put glasses in cart and code worked. Took glasses out and said I didn't meet the minimum requirements.

  • Anonymous November 8, 2010, 7:16 PM

You had to put in TWO of the items to get the 20 off – then on the cc – make sure you marked which cc and exp date – if not, you'll get an error msg. My total was .02 but I was charged on cc 1.73. Makes two quick stocking stuffers.

  • Anonymous November 9, 2010, 5:34 AM

Not trying to be rude, but some of you guys would call them just for a little over a dollar charged to a credit card? That is pretty cheap if you ask me!

  • Anonymous November 9, 2010, 11:05 AM

    i keep getting
Your order is not eligible for the requested discount. It does not meet the Minimum Order Amount.
    🙁

  • kdmiller90 November 9, 2010, 12:28 PM

I just got off the phone with Sunglass Hut and they told me that the charge was a pre-authorization charge and will be refunded back to me.

And it's not that we are cheap, it's the principle of the thing.

  • Anonymous November 9, 2010, 12:53 PM

READ – again – are you putting in TWO for minimum order?

  • Anonymous November 9, 2010, 1:00 PM

I called them just to find out… they said the $1 something is a 'preauth' hold and once your items ship the amount will go away and return to the .o2 billing.

  • Anonymous November 10, 2010, 8:00 PM

They now have "out of stock" on all of the small items under the checkout section
