I now live in Texas but I’m originally from the east coast. I have family in Florida, North Carolina and my immediate family lives right on the Jersey shore. They are all having to be evacuated and the major highways are being shut down by 8PM tonight! I am praying for everyone within Irene’s tracks to stay safe!! I can’t believe this is suppose to be the worst hurricane we have seen in over 70 years, we all saw what Katrina did, I’m hoping this hurricane will calm down like the Texas news is saying.

We are sitting her in Baltimore, Maryland. It is suppos to hit us as early as Saturday night and as late as Sunday morning. My cousin in North Carolina just sent me pictures of the skies there and they are nasty. I pray that everyone in Irene’s path says safe. We are expecting the worse but praying for the best. Lord be with us.

Thank you! I live in Massachusetts, and 99% of my family and friends live on the east coast, so we’re all bracing!
