BREAKING: CVS Coupon Policy Released

BREAKING NEWS

Yay! It has been a long time coming but finally CVS has officially released their CVS Corporate Coupon Policy on paper. Here are a few highlights:

  • Competitor coupons are not accepted at CVS/pharmacy.
  • The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction.
Sale Items
  • CVS/pharmacy will not accept percent off coupons for sale and promotional items.
  • In the event that any item’s price is less than the value of the coupon, CVS/pharmacy will accept the coupon only to the price of the item. CVS/pharmacy does not provide cash back in exchange for any coupons.
Multiple Coupons
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts one third-party manufacturer coupon and applicable CVS/pharmacy coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
  • The number of third-party manufacturer coupons used in a transaction may not exceed the number of items in the transaction.
  • Coupon Pro Blog .com
  • The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased. (No more clearing shelves! :))
Internet/Print at Home Coupons
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts valid internet/print at home coupons containing a barcode.

Print this CVS coupon policy and take it with you shopping. Knowledge is power, so know your coupon policy and you’ll likely never to run into any issues using your coupons. Now the new coupon policy, isn’t really anything different then what I already know but it’s great to have on hand and for new couponers. Isn’t it weird that it doesn’t say anything about Buy 1 Get 1 FREE coupons? What the heck?

If you receive a 30% off coupon from the Big Red machine, does it apply to final purchase even if eveything you got is on sale with or without coupons? Anybody understand the % off coupon the way I do?

Don’t know if you have seen this…….wish I had a CVS near me!

Need a new look this fall? Pick up a specially marked 2-liter of Diet Coke at CVS/pharmacy to get an exclusive Beauty Bag with coupons for Diet Coke and beauty products. Offer valid in-store only.

My local CVS limits customers to 6 like coupons. Glad they added something about clearing the shelves. I am all for a great deal, but some people are just plain greedy.

So how does this affect self-checkout. Can you scan a $5 coupon for $4.99 item and it won’t require cashier intervention? Seems unlikely.

yes i would like to know their policy on the b1g1 free and using (2) dollar amount off coupons? some of the cashiers at my local cvs will honor them (it does beep usually) but they push them through and then others say oh, no you can’t do that!! so which is it???
