Go figure…Walmart finally realizes their mistake of nixing the lay-a-way program a couple years ago, and now they bring it back — running it like KMart’s with a fee! Really?!
I was just thinking the same exact thing….Mom’s everywhere bout to jump on it!
Can we put winter clothing on layaway with the toys and electronics? PLEASE
Hmmmm will this work on iPad so I can treat myself ???
in a way I can understand why they added the fee. I used to work the layaway dept at walmart and there were a lot of people who would constantly abuse the program (like putting stuff on layaway, then coming in to cancel it, and then put it right back on layaway, which extended a 60 day layaway to 6 months sometimes…by that point, most of the stuff was on clearance).
I’m glad they’re doing this. I want to get my girls each an ipod and can’t afford to just buy it outright due to my daughter’s constant medical bills. This way I can give them something awesome in a way that I can afford 🙂 We don’t have Kmart or I would’ve done it that way lol
Wow this is big. use to purchase all my Christmas and school clothes this way. We have a large family and this will help a lot.
This is awesome! I just wish the toy selection was a little better 🙁 It seems like when we used to have a just a “regular” Walmart, as opposed to the newer SuperCenter there was a much bigger and better toy department. But still… yay Walmart!
