Wow, this was totally unexpected! Beginning Monday, October 31, the daily rental charge for DVDs will change from $1 a day to $1.20 a day at most locations. This is Redbox’s first national price change in eight years. Rental prices on Blu-ray Discs ($1.50 per day) and video games ($2 per day) will remain the same. Although, if your still looking to snag a $1 DVD rental, go to Redbox.com to reserve any DVD (even new releases) for $1 for the first day through 11/30.
