I Wouldn’t Call This A Sale… Would You???
So I was surfin’ the web last night and of course anytime I see the word “sale” or “on sale”, I quickly become interested. That’s until I saw the sale price. As shown above, 13″ Nylon Laptop Sleeve for MacBook on sale for $59.95… Did I mention the original retail price is $59.95? That’s a savings of 0%. What the heck?! Seriously folks, don’t let the sale sign fool you. Us couponers know how to spot great deals, and this ain’t one of them, honey! 😉
I wouldn’t even know what to call this. What kind of sale would you call this?

Not on sale but needs attention sale
Not a sale but a FAIL
Haha. That would only be funnier if it were a markup.
Reminds me of Publix ‘Clearance’ tags. Usually the product they have marked ‘Clearance’ – you know, the ones with the orange tags – is the same price as all the other flavors or fragrance. Not referring to the markdown bin, but shelf tags.
This reminds me of trying to use 40% off coupon on any regular priced item at Jo-Anns. The problem is that they will mark items down by a nickel and call them “on sale” so you can’t use the coupon! Then they don’t bother to mark the “sale” on the shelf so you go up to pay and can’t use the coupon. UGH!
The blind person’s sale!
haha they do that on amazon lightning deals too sometimes. People were crazy about this kind of 0% off sale.
Shopping last weekend saw something that was originally $40 “marked down” to $39.99.
The “not on sale” sale or the “pysch, made you look” sale.
Haha “faux-sale”
Janked
LOL! At least they didn’t “raise” the new price.
Walgreens once had a sale of 1 for 6.00 or 2 for 5.99….uhh, hmm, let me think. I don’t remember what it was for, but the ladies working there were laughing about it coming down from corporate that way.
That’s a lot like the wal-mart roll backs, or any sale at wal-mart for that matter. I have actually seen a few mark UP’S there , can we say DURRRR/, lol.
