I was reading Wal-Greens coupon policy because told me that it had changed. It states “The number of manufacturer coupons, including Register RewardsTM manufacturer coupons, may not exceed the number of items in the transaction. The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction. Sales tax must be paid, if required by state law.”

So my understanding on this is that to take advantage of this we have to buy the eyes drops and one of item. We also need to make sure our total is above 9.01. Am I correct in understanding this?

Basically, if you want to use a Manufacturer coupon AND a register reward, you must purchase two items (one of the items is usually a filler item such as a small piece of candy). For every coupon or reward, you must have one item in your transaction.

This means if you have $2 off coupon and the items is $1.99, your store will need to adjust the coupon to take $1.99 off and not $2.
