Amazon: Possible Kindle for ONLY $9 (Reg. $69!)

UPDATE: Reader Katie found the $40 off offer in her email yesterday, dated 11/10! WOWZERS!!! Ok, so it looks like some Amazon.com customers are seeing $40 off ANY select Kindle. Here’s how:

  1. Hurry over here and possibly login to look for a banner (like pictured above) that says “Save $40 on ANY Kindle” on the homepage. Please note, it’s appearing for some people only and it may take a few tries to appear.
  2. There are reports that several customers received emails with $60 off ANY Kindle offers, so check your email just in case!
  3. If it appears for you, click on the banner and you’ll be able to choose a Kindle for as low as $69.
  4. FINAL COST = As low as $9 (with $60 off email offer!) or as low as $29 (with $40 off Amazon.com offer!) + FREE Shipping!

Many readers like yourself stated they found the offer. It may be just for Amazon Prime members but I’m not sure. Hurry, this will not last long!

Thanks time2save and Katie!

It’s just a luck of the draw….I’m an Amazon Prime customer, but haven’t got it to load with the offer yet lol.

    • Dena Xie October 25, 2013, 1:52 PM

Do you have a prime account?

      • Ro October 25, 2013, 3:06 PM

I’m not 100% sure but some who have a Prime account are seeing it.

  • Deanna Edn October 25, 2013, 2:17 PM

We are prime members, but so far cannot find it.

  • Elaine October 25, 2013, 3:34 PM

I have a prime account and am seeing a $20 off offer.

  • Christine A. October 25, 2013, 3:46 PM

I am a prime member. I logged out, then logged back into my account. Click the Amazon Prime logo in the upper left hand corner of the page then it brought me to the screen. The offer available is not $40 off a kindle- it is only $20 off.

  • josephine October 25, 2013, 4:10 PM

I clicked on the banner and I only get $20 off

  • Name October 25, 2013, 4:13 PM

it is not working for me. says 40 off but I click to redeem the coupon and it says it has loaded my offer. it is not changing the price of the kindle.

    • Name October 27, 2013, 10:31 PM

It does not change the price it puts a “gift card” into your account. Once you go check-out you can use the gift card.

  • lindsey October 25, 2013, 4:51 PM

It won’t change till u go to check out

  • Christina October 25, 2013, 5:44 PM

I’m not a prime member, although I’ve done the free trial before. It worked for me. The discount didn’t show up until I got to checkout.

  • Amy October 25, 2013, 7:46 PM

I’m not sure if it helped but I was gifting a Kindle book to someone and then I noticed the banner for the offer when I went to my homepage. I got a $60 discount.

  • Chrsitine October 25, 2013, 10:02 PM

It is for “heavy” book readers that are getting the offers. it is $20, $40, or $60 depending on your book order history.

    • Melissa October 27, 2013, 10:32 PM

I am not a heavy book reader and have not even ordered a book through Amazon in 2 years but received the $60 offer

    • Ashley October 30, 2013, 11:56 AM

I hardly order books from Amazon and I had $60 off. I think it’s just luck of the draw.

  • Jessica October 27, 2013, 3:28 PM

Just got my $9 Kindle!! I am a prime member, so I don’t know if that’s why the offer showed up on my homepage! No tax either so I just paid $9

  • Jared October 29, 2013, 1:48 PM

I’m a heavy Prime use but not a heavy book reader. I didn’t get it.

  • Ashley October 30, 2013, 11:49 AM

I have prime and I saw it right when I logged in like the picture posted in the blog. It said that I was eligible for $60 off of a kindle. I got the Kindle Fire HD for $79!

  • Sally October 30, 2013, 11:56 AM

Would love to get this to work to do a second cheap kindle just for book reading so the kindle fire could be shared easier.

  • kelly October 30, 2013, 11:58 AM

I have had prime for the last 4 or 5 years AND I read and purchase a ton on my kindle, and I’m not seeing this offer anywhere 🙁 so I’m thinking it is just random…

  • Kez October 30, 2013, 12:14 PM

no offer for me 🙁 i wish i had gotten it, this would have been a good treat to share with my husband and daughter

  • Name October 30, 2013, 12:32 PM

Mine is only $20 off a Kindle.

  • Jes October 30, 2013, 6:11 PM

I’ve tried it both times on different computers and it didn’t work and I have not received an email. I am a Prime member and have ordered from amazon 3 times this week. I wonder if it’s targeting certain locations through out the country.

  • Liz October 31, 2013, 8:24 AM

It is only targeting certain locations. I’m not a prime member either. The first time I tried it earlier this week, I didn’t have it. But I got it yesterday & I had an e-mail from them as well. I never usually check them but it was in there.

  • Jane Ritz November 12, 2013, 11:36 AM

I can’t get it. I guess I want one too much for my grandson.

  • Carrie November 12, 2013, 11:52 AM

I found it, mine was at the top as soon as I went to Amazon, I’m a prime member and it was $40 off.

  • Ella November 13, 2013, 4:40 AM

No luck for me as well ;(
