Amazon Will Raise the Price of Prime from $99 to $119

AmazonFor the first time in four years, Amazon will be increasing the price of their annual Prime membership from $99 to $119. That’s a whopping 20% increase! The new price hike will take effect starting May 11th. For all you existing Prime members, if your regular renewal is on or after June 16th, you won’t be allowed to prepay for the lower rate.

Amazon is on pace to become the biggest and richest company on earth. Last week, CEO Jeff Bezos revealed that Prime hit over 100 million paid members worldwide and continues to grow. Is it still worth it?

Toys R Us Closing All 800 Stores

Toys R UsSad news! Toys R Us announced today that they are planning to sell or close all 800 of its stores. Unable to recover from debt, the toy retailer closure will affect a whopping 33,000 jobs. There’s no word yet when the toy store will officially close it’s doors, but you can expect some going out of business sales very soon. Spread the word!
