This just happened! Starting today (October 5th), Netflix has announced they are increasing the price on their most popular plan for all US subscribers. Here’s the new price chart:

• Basic: $7.99 per month (no increase)
• Standard: $10.99 per month (was $9.99)
• Premium: $13.99 per month (was $11.99)

In my opinion, Netflix is still very much worth it to me since I don’t have cable. However, I do get bored sometimes with the lack of content. My favorite shows are 13 Reasons Why, Being Mary Jane, Fuller House, Narcos, Stranger Things, and Walking Dead but I’ve already binge watched all the episodes and new seasons of these shows won’t come out for months or until next year. I really hope they don’t keep raising their prices. Will you be keeping your Netflix subscription?

Great news for all you Target shoppers! Target just announced everyday lower prices on thousands of items including baby formula, bath tissue, cereal, paper towels, razors, and more! You’ll likely see these price drops on your next shopping trip. Wha you won’t be seeing are all those little signs and ads letting you know about “As Advertised!”, “Temporary Price Cut”, and “Weekly Wow!” deals. I’m almost certain this is a response to Amazon lowering prices at Whole Foods. You should expect other grocery stores to do the same. Awesome, right?

Amazon, who bought the upscale grocery chain back in June, announced today that Whole Foods will lower prices on some of their best-selling grocery items starting Monday, August 28th. These price cuts will include bananas, organic avocados, organic large brown eggs, organic responsibly-farmed salmon and tilapia, organic baby kale and baby lettuce, animal-welfare-rated 85% lean ground beef, creamy and crunchy almond butter, organic Gala and Fuji apples, organic rotisserie chicken, 365 Everyday Value organic butter, and much more! In addition, Amazon revealed plans to offer Amazon Prime as the customer rewards program at Whole Foods stores, which will come with special savings and in-store benefits.
