UPDATE: P&G Orders Cancelled = FREE $10 Walmart Gift Card

WOW! Remember the super hot P&G Travel Gift Pack for just 2 CENTS (EXPIRED) post from last night? Well sadly ALL the order were cancelled BUT to my surprise, I got the following email from [email protected]:

Dear Ro,

Thank you for your recent order from Walmart.com.

Unfortunately, due to very high demand for the item you ordered, we sold more units than were available, and now this item is unavailable. This item has been canceled. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. To thank you for your understanding, we’re emailing you a $10 eGift Card to apply towards a future Walmart purchase online or in stores. You’ll receive the eGift Card in a separate email within 48 hours.

A refund has been issued to your original method of payment and the funds should be available within 10 business days.

Sincerely,

Your Walmart.com Customer Service Team

Are you kidding me??? A $10 gift card? So many thanks and props to Walmart.com for sticking by their customers and making things right, when they really didn’t owe us anything. Thank you Walmart!

Starbucks Coffee Prices to Go Up 1 percent

Starbucks Coffee Prices to Go Up 1 percent

Ugh! Starting tomorrow (June 25th), Starbucks will raise prices on some drinks by 1%. The price hike will include brewed coffee, tea, latte and espresso drinks. So basically, you’ll be out a few pennies which doesn’t seem a lot but Starbucks is already kind of over priced if you ask me. But luckly for many of us, venti and grande-sized brewed coffees, as well as Frappuccino drinks will not increase in price. Speaking of coffee, you can print six Coffee Coupons right now! 😉

Thanks Theresa for the heads up!

Kmart ‘Big Gas Savings’ Commercial… LOL!

Big gas savings commericial kmart

Kmart ‘Big Gas Savings’ Commercial… LOL!

Have you guys seen this? Kmart is at it again releasing another hilarious commercial (remember the Ship My Pants Commercial) for the very few of us that still shop there. The whole idea behind the commercial is to promote their Shop Your Way Rewards membership which can help you save on gas… or so they say! It’s funny when you think of the word that could replace “Gas” but nothing compares to the Ship My Pants commercial, I’d say. Check out their new Big Gas Savings Commercial here!

Thoughts? Did you enjoy it?

Thanks Emelda!

UPDATE: JCPenney will honor all FREE Orders?!

GREAT NEWS! Remember all the FREE JCPenney Offers (free coke t-shirt, free arizona hoodies, free women’s sweater, free bath towels, free pineapple slicerall expired now!) posted on May 12th? Well it appears JCPenney WILL HONOR nearly all of the free orders with a limit of 1 per person. So if you tried ordering a 2nd, 3rd free item and so on, you’re outta luck!

Here’s the full email Neha received:

At JCPenney, we always want you to have the best. The recent $10 off $10 MORE2BUY coupon you received was part of that intent. However, that offer was designed for one-time use only. We will honor the $10 off your first order but any subsequent orders placed using this discount will be canceled. We apologize for any confusion and invite you to take advantage of all the great offers currently available at jcp.com. Thank you for shopping with us, and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Readers Jenny and Tiffany posted on our Facebook wall that they received a call and already picked up their free orders. If you’re like me, I’m still waiting for a call back to pick up my free t-shirt. It looks like JCPenney eating up their “mistake” to keep their customers happy and that deserves lots of props. We’ll keep you posted on any new details!
