Instagram To Sell Your Personal Photos

UPDATE: Instagram has released a statement – “”It is our mistake that this language is confusing. To be clear: it is not our intention to sell your photos.”

WHAT?! Well the popular Facebook-owned app, Instagram, announced yesterday that starting January 16th, they will have the right to sell your photos… for profit… and you will get zip, zero, nothing out of it. You CANNOT opt out of this big policy change therefore you MUST delete your account before January 16th if you don’t want them to sell your photo.. or unless they scrap this change all together, which may not happen even though everyone is crying out loud over it. UPDATE: Lowe’s Cancels $10 Rug Orders!

Remember this smokin’ hot Lowe’s deal I posted earlier today (11/30): Lowe’s: Artistic Weavers Floral Area Rugs Only $10 Shipped? Well it looks like it was too good to be true because my order was just cancelled. Here’s the email I received:

Dear Customer, 

Due to an error, one or more of the Artistic Weavers brand rugs you ordered on Lowes.com were incorrectly listed as $10. Therefore, your order(s) will be canceled and any charges for these items will be refunded to the original form of payment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
