A few months ago, I was always buying ‘Wheat Thins’ at the Walmart near my house and they were usually $2.00 until about two months ago or so when the price went up to $2.98.
On my earlier post, I stated that ‘Wheat Thins’ at my other local Walmart, which is school, are $2.00. That’s because on Tuesday (9/13/09) I visited that Walmart and saw the price of ‘Wheat Thins’ was $2.00. Today (9/15/09), I stopped in to that same Walmart and saw the price of ‘Wheat Thins’ had jumped to $2.98, similar to the one close to my home.
My issue is that this is the second time I’ve seen this kind of jump at the Walmart near my school. I don’t understand how it could jump up $1 and come back down like that.
Any thoughts?
