YAY! Kmart has finally confirmed a new Double Coupon Event is making a comeback. Although, we are hearing there will be new rules as well.
Here are the new rules but we cannot confirm this for every location:
- Manufacturer Coupons up to and including $2 Value are doubled up to $2 no matter what the retail price of a single item is. (ex. if your coupon is for $2 off, you will actually get $4 off!)
- Must be a member of the Shop Your Way Rewards program AND the cashier MUST swipe your reward’s card at the beginning of your transaction.
- Does not include Kmart Store Coupons.
- Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons. (i.e. Kmart coupons will NOT be doubled.)
- Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day.

I heard that you have to have a KMart rewards card? Is this true and how do you get one?
I wish I knew if the stores were sticking to the rules. In the past, the stores had a limit of 10 double coupons, however some of the stores in the Kansas City, MO area would allow you to make multiple transactions of 10 coupons. I don't want to drive 100 miles for 5 coupons.
Does anyone know if you just signed up for a rewards card if the cashiers can just type in your number??? I just signed up, and it says it takes 3-4 weeks for the card to arrive.

does anyone have a link to where I can read the rules on how Kmart is doubling their coupons. I had an email from them but I deleted it and I can't it anywhere on the website. I was in Kmart tonight and the lady said they're only doubling for a "total" of $2, so if your coupon is $2 or higher, it will not double, but anything under $2, will double only until it reaches $2…so I wanted to know where people are reading that it would max the double at $2 so I can return to the store and have my items corrected..thank you, I'm so frustrated right now and i never, EVER, shop Kmart but thought I would take advantage of a few free/cheap items…
