It’s official… Walgreens has a released a Coupon Policy.
Here’s what you need to know:
- If you have a coupon (say $1.50 off) for a product selling for only $1, Walgreens will only accept the coupon for what the selling price is. Basically, you will only get $1 off and not $1.50 off.
- “When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s), unless prohibited by either coupon offer.” Basically, this is not new to us but you are allowed to use ONE manufacturer coupon, ONE Walgreens in-ad coupon and ONE Walgreens monthly coupon booklet coupon for the purchase of a single item.
- Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
- “When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.” Basically, if you are purchasing a certain item that is on sale for B1G1 FREE and you have 2 coupons for $2 off 1 of this certain item, you are allowed to use one coupon the on item that you buy and one coupon on the item that is “free”.
- Always remember, when a certain item is on sale for B1G1 FREE, you are allowed to use a Buy 1, Get 1 FREE coupon on this certain item that is one sale and receive both items for free. Basically, the store sale pays for the 1st free item and the manufacture coupon pays for the 2nd free item since the store get paid for each coupon they redeem.
- No where in this coupon policy does it state that you are not allowed to use your RR right after you receive it. I’ve had issues with this many times. Basically, you can use your RR whenever you want too!
If your an avid Walgreens shopper, you might want to print this coupon policy for future reference in case you have any issues!
