Father’s Day Gift Ideas… Amy needs your help!

With Father’s Day only 2 days away, many of you may be scrambling to get your dad a gift. Let’s hope not, but we all get busy and may even forget the special day is almost here. One of our fellow readers, Amy, wrote the following on our Facebook wall:

Father’s Day gift ideas for my husband and dad! Help!!

I’d suggest a cool t-shirt from Vistaprint, but the shirt probably won’t arrive in time. Can you guys help Amy? We’d love to hear some of your gift ideas and thoughts. Hope this helps! 😀

Readers suggestions:

  • The Walgreens collage freebies there are two and if she has kids they can make letters DAD. (thanks for sharing Kassie and Tiffany)
  • GROUPON!!!!!! Got an amazing deal on a complete car detailing package AND they come to the car – not the other way around! Love it! (thanks for sharing Babs)
  • I got him a shirt from Vistaprint and printed the picture of the shirt saying that it will arrive in the mail later. I put his name on the shirt and “World’s Best Dad” below his name. One that looks like a pro baseball logo. Super cool!!! (thanks for sharing Kari)

Im getting DH a new BBQ set. The one he has now is very old. Maybe a new grill cover as well. Another thing I did was I used the Walgreens promo for the free 8×10 collage and put together a nice collage for him of us and the ultrasounds of our first baby due in Aug. I couldn’t wait to give it to him and he LOVED it.

How about a gift basket of all his favorite snacks! Candy bars, popcorn, chips, beef jerky, peanuts, favorite drinks..sodas, beer, etc. You could even throw in a gift card to a local car wash, sonic, Academy, movie tickets….the list never ends! Hope this helps! 🙂

Also, does he have a favorite movie? Throw that in the basket as well!

How about a stepping stone with a child’s handprint! We bought a craft kit at Walmart and are making them for her Dad and Pop! I know they will both love putting them outside in the garden or ours will go in her play area!
