Disney+ just announced they will be raising prices starting December 8th, 2022. In addition, Disney+ will be launching a new ad-supported option. Here’s the updated pricing list:
- Disney+ with ads: $7.99 per month (new)
- Disney+ without ads: $10.99 per month (was $7.99)
- Disney+ and Hulu with ads: $9.99 per month (new)
- Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ with ads: $12.99 per month (was $13.99)
- Disney+ without ads and Hulu and ESPN+ with ads: $14.99 per month (was $13.99)
- Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ without ads: $19.99 per month (no change)
You can pay as little as $6.66 without ads if you pay for full year up-front and that seems like a great idea especially before the price increase if you want to continue streaming Disney+ without ads. Let us know what you think!

Check your mailbox! Remember the Ferrara Candy Box Settlement (no longer available) I posted about back in October 2021? Well if you qualified and submitted a claim, you’ll be excited to hear that today I got my check totaling $12.50. More than what I was expecting! For the first time since 2018, Amazon will be increasing the price of their annual Prime membership from $119 to $139. That’s a whopping 17% increase! The new price hike will take effect starting February 18th. For all you existing Prime members, if your regular renewal is on or after March 25th, you will be billed the higher price!
Amazon also raised the monthly price of a Prime members from $12.99 to $14.99.

Netflix just announced they are raising prices starting today on ALL their monthly plans. Here’s the updated pricing list:
- Basic: $9.99 per month (was $8.99)
- Standard: $15.49 per month (was $13.99)
- Premium: $19.99 per month (was $17.99)
To be quite honest, this increase was expected because of inflation. Personally, I will continue to use Netflix (since I don’t have cable) even though I’m not thrilled about the price increase at all. What do you think?
