Walgreens Balance Rewards 2012

JUST IN! Beginning Sunday, September 16th, 2012, Walgreens is officially rolling out with the Balance Rewards program. It allows you to earn points on thousands of items and redeem these points for rewards. This program will not interfere with their current Regsiter Rewards program, in fact they can be used together. You’ll have the option to carry a card, provide your phone number or present a mobile version of your card. Dollar Tree Coupon Policy 2012

Dollar Tree will begin accepting coupons at most stores starting Sunday, August 26th, 2012. Here’s the official Dollar Tree Coupon Policy:

• Only original and intact manufacturers’ coupons will be accepted. Retailer-specific coupons will not be accepted.
• Coupons are void if copied, scanned, or if they have been altered in any way.
• Only two (2) print-at-home Internet coupons may be redeemed per transaction.
• We are unable to accept coupons for “Free” items with no purchase requirements or where the amount for the product is blank.
• Coupons can only be used in stores and must be presented at time of purchase. Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash at a later time.
• Coupons will not be accepted without the purchase of the item specified and are subject to the terms listed (e.g. expiration date, size, limitations, quantity, etc.).
• Coupons cannot be redeemed for more than the purchase price of the item.
• Only one (1) manufacturer’s coupon will be accepted per item.
• Management has the right to refuse any coupon or otherwise limit quantities.

You may want to print it out and bring it with you on your shopping trips. Happy Shopping! 😀

McDonald’s Accepts Competitor Coupons?!

Wowie! Check out the image below that Jessica spotted in Southern California. Stamped right on the front door of her local McDonald’s is a sign that states “We Accept Our Competitor’s Coupons on Any Comparable McDonald’s Item.” Ok, so I have a feeling this is not a nationwide promo, so be sure to check with your local McDonald’s. And we are not sure what they accept and don’t accept quite yet but it doesn’t hurt to try it. Be sure to let us know if you local McDonald’s accepts competitor coupons!

Dollar Tree – Accepting Coupons Starting 8/26

JUST IN!!! Dollar Tree will begin accepting coupons at most stores starting Sunday, August 26th. Here’s what they posted on Facebook:

We have been testing several markets across the nation over the past year and we are happy to say we now have the ability to accept manufacturer coupons! This will begin in most stores on August 26th!

Also, this is not 100% confirmed but here are some of the reported rules:

• Accept 2 internet coupons per transaction
• Do not take BOGO free coupons
• Do not take any FREE coupons or coupons that require associates to write in the amount of purchase
• Do no take retailer specific coupons
• Coupons must be presented at time of purchase
• Coupons can’t be redeemed for more than the value of the product (It looks like they may need to adjust the coupon down if possible!)

Yay! This is great news for all you folks with a Dollar Tree near by so feel free to call and confirm with your local store. Be sure to let us know what you think in the comment section below!

My BlogHer 2012 Swag – Candles, Coupons, T-Shirts and More!

You probably didn’t notice but over the weekend I was in New York City for the BlogHer 2012 conference exclusively for Bloggers, like myself. It’s where bloggers go to connect with each other, meet brands, score a bunch of swag and get pampered for a full weekend and boy did I have a blast. Did I mention I was one of only 150 or so males attending? And probably one of the youngest too! 🙂
