My BlogWorld 2011 Expo Experience & Free Swag
Unlike BlogHer, where I was able to score a ton of free stuff and be up close and personal with top brands such as Tide and Dole, BlogWorld was a bit of a different experience. While I did score some free stuff, it definitely doesn’t compare to BlogHer in that sense. But then again, the main reason for BlogWorld is to meet and greet with companies and organizations that can help me better my blogging skills, become more creative and continue to grow my blog to essentially be your #1 resource for saving money. Bottom line: I want to make Coupon Pro the best possible site for all my readers.
It was a beautiful day. Oh yeah, and that’s the Staples Center!

Wow, this was totally unexpected! Beginning Monday, October 31, the daily rental charge for DVDs will change from $1 a day to $1.20 a day at most locations. This is Redbox’s first national price change in eight years. Rental prices on Blu-ray Discs ($1.50 per day) and video games ($2 per day) will remain the same. Although, if your still looking to snag a $1 DVD rental, go to Redbox.com to reserve any DVD (even new releases) for $1 for the first day through 11/30. Well last night was a ton of fun! I got together with a bunch of friends eating dinner, having adult beverages, all the while carving some pumpkins. I thought Jack Skellington (far left) and the Owl (fourth from left) turned out really amazing. We all did great! Carving pumpkins isn’t my day job but I thought my “Angry Bird” turned out all right. And best of all… I scored these pumpkins for ONLY $2.99 each at Trader Joe’s. Any other pumpkin deals out there? And be sure to share your pumpkin carving ideas, tips and pictures if you’d like?! 😉
So last week, I was informed that our water would be turned off for about 4 hours due to repairs before the upcoming winter season. Waking up this morning, it hit me when I turned on my faucet this morning to wash my face that todays the day. But I forgot again when I tried washing my hands. Oh, I also forgot when I tried washing my apple. It’s been about 8 hours and our water is still turned off.
When it does finally come on, I know it’s one more thing I’m truly thankful for because not everyone is as fortunate as many of us are. We’d love to know, what are you thankful for today?
UPDATE: Water turned back on right after I published this post. Wow! 🙂

How to fix your Facebook to quickly find Coupon Pro?
Not everyone is happy with the new Facebook layout and because of it you may be missing a lot of our posts. Follow the simple steps below so you’ll be able to quickly access Coupon Pro and all our savings and deals with one-click easy every time you login to Facebook.
UPDATE: Facebook has made even more changes in April 2012, so make sure you check out the updated version at How to create a list on Facebook to quickly find Coupon Pro?.
Here are the 10 easy steps so you’ll never miss a deal:
1. Login to your Facebook page, then click your News Feed tab on the top left (under your name). After doing so, scroll down until you see the Lists section on the left hand side. You’ll to need scroll over the right side of the word “LISTS’ with your mouse until the “MORE” link appears like shown above. Simply click the “MORE” link then…
2. … you’ll need to click the +Create a List tab on the upper right of the Lists section that appears.
3. After doing so, the window shown above will appear. Write in “Coupon Pro” then click “Create List”.
4. After creating the Coupon Pro list, you’ll be brought to this page shown above and all you need to do is click “Add friends”.
5, After doing so, it’s going to load all your friends but scroll to the upper left and select the “Friends” drop down menu then click “Pages”. All your liked pages should appear.
6. In the upper right, click the search box and search “Coupon Pro”. This will quickly bring up Coupon Pro and all you need to do is click our icon.
7. Click “Done” on the lower right.
8. After doing so, your should be able to see the created list and everything we share on our wall should appear like shown above. Now scroll over the Coupon Pro tab shown above and a tiny pencil should appear to the left. All you need to do click the pencil.
9. Once you click the pencil, a drop down menu should appear and you will need to click “Add to Favorites”.
10. Yay! And now you can access all our posts straight from your wall by simply clicking the Coupon Pro tab anytime you login to Facebook. 😀
