Target to Close on Thanksgiving Day This Year

Target just announced that they’ll be closing on Thanksgiving Day (November 26th) this year. “Closing our stores on Thanksgiving Day. This season, you can count on getting extra-big savings without the extra-long lines, with plenty of opportunities to score the best deals on the hottest items both before and after November 26.” As you may recall, Walmart announced they were closing on Thanksgiving Day last week. Don’t worry, you will still be able to shop online. So glad to see this happening now!

Walmart Closing All Stores Thanksgiving DayToday, Walmart announced that all stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 26th) this year. “We know this has been a trying year, and our associates have stepped up. We hope they will enjoy a special Thanksgiving Day at home with their loved ones”. No more early Black Friday shopping in stores is a direct response to the pandemic but you will still be able to shop online. Way to go, Walmart!

Did You Get Your Stimulus Deposit Yet? Check Your Bank AccountCheck your bank account! IRS has announced they they have started depositing funds in bank accounts for those who qualify. The direct deposits started rolling out over the weekend with $1,200 going to individuals who earn less than $75,000, $2,400 for married couples who file jointly, and $500 for each child 16 and younger. Most Americans should receive their stimulus deposits by April 17th. If you are expecting a paper check in the mail, you’re going to have to wait a few weeks (or a few months). Have you received your stimulus money yet?
