“Multiple sites have reported an upcoming change in Verizon’s pricing occurring on Monday.
Changes are summarized below:
- All multimedia phones will incur a mandatory additional $9.99 fee for 25MB of data. Phones include enV3, Chocolate Touch, and a host of others (the list includes 9 phones, so check it out).
- Smartphones will still require the $29.99 data plan.
- Pricing for unlimited minutes is dropping 30%.
These changes will only affect NEW customers, so if you’re thinking of buying one of those multimedia phones (without an unlimited plan), you might want to do it before Monday.
Strictly for people who TALK&TEXT and use MINIMAL data. If you’re a heavy data user…it might be best to stick with Verizon directly.

Unlimited minutes
