AUGUST 30, 2014 – Kraft is recalling a whopping 7,691 cases of their regular American Singles Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product. What’s the reason? Stored in out-of-standard temperature, which could lead to premature spoilage and/or food borne illness. AUGUST 20, 2014 – BRITA is recalling a whopping 242,500 children’s water bottles. Characters and bottle colors include Dora the Explorer, violet; Hello Kitty, pink; SpongeBob Square Pants, blue; and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, green. What’s the reason? The lid can break into pieces with sharp points, posing a laceration hazard. Hummus Recall 2014
MAY 22, 2014 – Prepared Foods manufacturer Lansal, Inc. is voluntarily recalling 14,680 pounds of various hummus and dip products, which were sold at Target, Trader Joe’s and Giant Eagle. APRIL 20, 2014 – Kraft is recalling a whopping 96,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners with “Est. 537H” inside the USDA mark of inspection and “USE BY 16 Jun 2014”. What’s the reason? May contain Classic Cheese Dogs which isn’t stated on the label of ingredients. As you may know, the Classic Cheese Dogs is a different product with different ingredients.
