FEBRUARY 9, 2014 – Rancho Feeding Corporation, based in CA, is recalling approximately 8.7 million pounds of meat. The products were distributed to retailers in four states: California, Florida, Illinois and Texas. What’s the reason? It processed diseased and unhealthy animals. USDA Health Alert for Foster Farms Chicken 2013
OCTOBER 7, 2013 – USDA has issued a nationwide health alert for Foster Farms Chicken brand products. Please note there is NO recall at this time but the suspected packages would read: P6137, P6137A or P7632 . What’s the reason? May contain strains of Salmonella. TIP: Cooking chicken to 165-degrees kills the Salmonella bacteria.
