Oh what a surprise… Remember the MACY’S: Revo Rolling Suitcase for ONLY $9 Shipped + 5% Cash Back post (no longer available) which was posted on February 22nd?! Well, it was certainly a price mistake at $1 since it was suppose to cost a whopping $139.99… and thats the sale price. Over the past few days, many of you have emailed me, left comments on Facebook and tweeted that you’re orders were cancelled. I still had hope since I didn’t receive one but like everyone else, my order was cancelled this morning (3/2):
We’re sorry to inform you that due to a system error macys.com incorrectly listed the price of the 28″ Logic Rolling Upright Revo Suitcase at $1.00 instead of the correct sale price of $139.99.
Be assured that your account will not be charged for the canceled Revo Suitcase or that you will receive an appropriate credit or refund promptly, if due.
As noted in our pricing policy, while we do our best to ensure our prices are accurate, errors occasionally occur, and we reserve the right to correct those errors, particularly obvious errors like the one that occurred in this case.
I apologize if I got anyones hopes up but with amazing deals like this (or price mistakes), cancellations are always expected. On to the next amazing deal… 😉
(thank you to all the readers for keeping me updated)
