Coupons on Valentine’s Day: Is it Ok?
With Valentine’s Day coming up tomorrow, it got me thinking. Is it ok to use coupons on your Valentine’s Day date? Now dinner dates, especially on Valentine’s Day, can be a little pricey and some restaurants don’t even allow coupons to be used on February 14th, but for many of us, using coupons is just a way of life. Whether it’s a first date, second date or your husband or wife, we’d love to hear your opinion on this topic.

Tassimo Recall 2012
FEBRUARY 9, 2012 – BSH Home Appliances has anounced a voluntary recall of over 1 million Tassimo Single-Cup Coffee Brewers. What’s the reason? There are reports of the brewer spraying hot liquid on people, in some cases leaving second-degree burns. This item was sold at department, mass merchandise and home improvement stores nationwide and on various websites, including www.tassimodirect.com, from June 2008 through February 2012 for between $100 and $250. How to get a refund on your recalled products?
If you have any of the products stated, make sure to contact Tassimo toll-free at (866) 918-8763 (available Monday-Friday 8 am to 8 pm ET or between 8 am to 1 pm ET on Saturdays) for information on how to return the affected products and receive reimbursement.

Tomorrow is Thank a Mailman Day! (February 4th)
Guess what? Tomorrow, February 4th is Thank a Mailman Day. I’m sure we are all thankful for the amount of work that is put in to deliver all our packages since most of us get more than the average person. So be sure to let them know you appreciate them with a simple “Thank You”, a personal letter, or maybe even a little gift! 🙂

So I Bought Myself a Gift…
I’m so excited! Yesterday, my brand spankin’ new Keurig arrived. I’ve heard so many good things about it from various folks and when I came across a Kohls.com deal sent to me by a wonderful reader a few weeks ago, I jumped on it and saved nearly 50% off (using my mom’s Kohl’s card combined with the online sale. Thanks Mom!).
If you’ve been a reader for the past few months, I’m sure you know the amount of FREE K-Cups offers has been insane and with so many flavors and varieties out there, all I know is that it’s going to be used quite often around here. I can look forward to my mornings now! 😀

$5/1 Kingsford Charcoal Coupon is totally LEGIT!
Remember the HOT Kingsford Charcoal Coupon $5/1 (no longer availabe) post from yesterday (1/25)? Well the coupon is gone now but yesterday, there was quite a bit of confusion as Kingsford Charcoal took to Facebook announcing the following:
We apologize about the confusion for the earlier coupons. They were unsolicited and not covered by us.
Well of course, they were speaking of the super hot $5/1 coupon we posted early yesterday morning. Folks who printed the coupon from the most popular and legitimate site for printable coupons on the planet, Coupons.com, were just dumbfounded. How can a coupon from Coupons.com be a fake? Thankfully, Kingsford just cleared up the issue on Facebook:
Hello Kingsford fans! We’d like to clear up any confusion regarding coupons. So sorry it took us a while to get to the bottom of this mystery! Yesterday, a number of coupon offers were posted by third parties to our Facebook Wall. While we can’t verify the legitimacy of them all, we can confirm that the $5 Kingsford coupon from Coupons.com was legitimate and will be honored. Unfortunately, the link has now been taken down because all available coupons were downloaded.
Whew! Now go use that coupon, you have nothing to worry about and should have no issues redeeming it. Oh and I even heard the smaller bags are under $5 at Walmart, so a possible money maker!!! 😉
